Drink of the Moment: Mango-Mint Rum Slush





Though summer is nearly over, there are still a few days left to fit in a few frozen fruity temptations.  Whether you're at the beach, the pool, or just in your backyard this Labor Day weekend; this is one you are sure to enjoy.  Sip quickly before it's too late!





Mango-Mint Rum Slush  


Ingredients

  • 3 cups coarsely chopped peeled mango
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • 1 cup mango nectar
  • 3/4 cup white rum
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh mint

Preparation

  • Place mango in freezer for 1 hour. Combine mango, ice cubes, and remaining ingredients in a blender; process until smooth. Serve immediately.
